Three Young Princesses Battling Cancer Have Their Picture Taken Together

These three little girls, Rylie, Rheann, and Ainsley met for the first time when they took a group photo for Scantling Photography and Goodger Photography. The photographers wanted to capture the strength and spirit of the cancer survivors.

From a local report on them (video at bottom):

threeprincessesIf most pictures are worth a thousand words, one in particular is worth a million. Three Oklahoma girls, seemingly so peaceful in the image, are all battling cancer.

Three-year-old Rylie just beat stage 5 kidney cancer. Six-year-old Rheann has brain cancer. Four-year-old Ainsley is fighting a form of leukemia.

The girls are now friends but they never met before the photograph was taken.

“The girls had a lot of fun. I mean, it was just very moving watching their bond form,” said Rheann’s mom, Valeria Franklin.

Scantling Photography and Goodger Photography found the girls through Facebook. They wanted to bring awareness to the struggle children with cancer face every day.

“I just wanted something that showed the strength and the bond and that they weren’t alone,” photographer Lora Scantling said.
