Make Mine Freedom
Some of you may watch this and think it antiquated nonsense. I happen to think it is brilliant. The front end of what we are in the middle of right now. It isn't about going "back" or being "out of step." There are no new philosophies. There are those that work and promote freedom. And there are those that do not and promote tyranny. Freedom is both freedom to succeed and freedom to fail. Failure is part of how we learn. If we could put our fragile little egos aside, we would find within failure, the freedom to grow in humility, to learn from our mistakes, to actually call them mistakes (or Sins in some cases), the freedom to correct them or repent, and to grow and change. Unfortunately, many in this country seem to have drank the government's kool aid. I did for awhile. I spit it out a few years back. Big government will not save us from collapse. People will. People uniting for the common good of communities. Holy people who understand that fruit is not born apart from Faith and Reason. There is no perfect world. The government cannot make everything better. In fact, even if we down size the government, even if we were come suffering. Correcting the problem of overreaching government, means that while private sector jobs were growing, public sector jobs would be eliminated. Maybe mine...who knows? Nevertheless, I do believe that there is still time to abandon, the "ISM" mindset and to re-orient ourselves to the truth. History has shown that it doesn't work. America didn't become the most amazing country in the world by embracing the principles of the communist manifesto. Which begins with creating division and class warfare, destroying the unity of the people through propaganda and lies. Be afraid, be very afraid! That's what the "ISM's", like President Obama want, division and fear. Remember the world is an imperfect place, no amount of benefits, pay, or retirement, is going to make it perfect and the government cannot correct the imperfections. Don't give up your freedom in exchange for some government handout.
