Ecclesia Institute - Pure Awesomeness!

I have gone on retreat with the brothers in the past, it is an amazing experience. They are brilliant, but more than that they are charitable witnesses, to the peace and joy, of living a life rooted in Christ. The fundamental question we all need to ask ourselves is what does God want to do through me? To answer that question we have to pray. We have to live a life of silence at times. We can't hear God if we are constantly texting, and IMing, watching TV, and listening to our Ipod's. God speaks to us from the center of our being. His love rises up within us and at times directs us even we don't know what direction we are heading. But, He cannot do that if we are unwilling to submit our lives to Him. We must be docile in prayer and humble in our approach. Yet, we approach the throne of grace with great confidence, knowing the promise that God has made to us. Each and every one of us has a purpose, but we must discover our gifts, embrace them, and submit them to God for His use. Only then will we find true happiness. The Community of St. John is amazing. Please share this with all of the young adults you know and encourage them to attend. If you are a young adult, GO! You won't regret it.
