A Success Is a Success, However Small #SmallSuccess

I’ve had Small Successes on my mind for the last few weeks, though I didn’t share them here. And sometimes that’s good, because, really, this isn’t about whether YOU know about my little triumphs or not. It’s about whether *I* notice them and acknowledge them.

This is the amazing sunset we saw earlier this week on our drive home. My 9yo took this picture out of the van window.

This week’s been a week of small, indeed. The toilets aren’t cleaned, the grapes aren’t jellied, the floor’s not swept. Even so, there’s this little list:

1. I worked out on the porch while the boy played in the dirt. And it was divine, with sunshine and a combine two fields over and the sound of his playing.

2. I’ve been keeping to my meal plans.

3. I have been putting my computer to bed when the kids go to bed, for the most part, despite the never-ending to-do list and the feeling that I need to do more and better.

Small Success Thursday

What are YOUR Small Successes? Sometimes it just takes sharing them (and having others cheer along with you and recognize what a HUGE accomplishment all those small things are) to make you realize the importance of what you do.

Share them over at CatholicMom.com today!
