Chaminade dominates in state semifinal soccer game

Chaminade College Preparatory's Michael Barlow battles a player from Rockhurst High School in the Class 4 state high school soccer semifinal game Nov. 14 at Blue Springs South High School. Chaminade won 4-0 to advance to the finals the next day.

The Chaminade soccer team marched through Rockhurst High School with a 4-0 win in the Class 4 state semifinals Nov. 14, mimicking members of the student body who marched through the stands prior to the game carrying a school flag.

Chaminade, the only Catholic school from the archdiocese making the trip to the state championships, was to play in the finals the next day against Lee's Summit.
