Great New Music: O Day of Resurrection and Christmas in Harvard Square

I always hesitate to accept review copies of music. I don’t consider myself an expert on music; enjoying a good album or a certain kind of sound just makes me a fan.

But when I listened to the two albums that were in my mailbox, I knew I had to share about them here. They’re simply too good not to.

ODayofResurrection

O Day of Resurrection is a recording of the monks of the New Camoldoi Hermitage chanting the Liturgy of the Hours. It’s amazing and beautiful and gave me a deeper appreciation of that devotion.

ChristmasinHarvardSquare

Christmas in Harvard Square is the kind of Christmas music that makes me less Scroogey. (No, really. I had no idea there could be such a thing!)

Read my full thoughts and watch videos relating to them over at the Register.
