American Chesterton Society to Host 34th Annual Conference at Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Texas

The American Chesterton Society will hold its 34th annual conference from August 6 to August 8 at Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The theme of this year’s conference is “A Miscellany of Men.”

 

The 3-day Chesterton conference will feature various speakers including:

  • Dale Ahlquist, the President of the American Chesterton Society and host of EWTN’s The Apostle of Common Sense. He is the author of four books including All Roads: Roamin’ Catholic Apologetics, published by ACS Books.
  • Geir Hasnes, an independent scholar from Konigberg, Norway, who has been working on Chesterton’s bibliography for more than 25 years..
  • Dr. Peter Howard, the President of The Fulton Sheen Society and Director of The Catholic Hour grassroots movement, and author of The Woman: The Mystery of Mary as Mediatrix in the Teaching of Fulton J. Sheen.
  • Joseph Pearce, writer-in-residence and the Director of the Center for Faith and Culture at Aquinas College. He is the author of many books, including C.S. Lewis and the Catholic Church, Old Thunder, and Race with the Devil.
