Documentary on Thomas Merton marks centennial of his birth

WASHINGTON (CNS) -- Morgan Atkinson's new documentary on Thomas Merton,
the famed Trappist monk from the Cistercian abbey in Gethsemani,
Kentucky, was "40 years in the making," he joked.
