School’s Posters Urge Teens Not to Have Sex at Prom, Planned Parenthood’s Response is Ridiculous

In Wisconsin, Planned Parenthood is outraged that a high school decided to place flyers up on campus encouraging girls to protect their character by not having sex on prom night.

On Twitter, the abortion giant said the flyers were “despicable” and apparently the school, Lincoln High School, took them down because of controversy.

The flyers were sponsored by two religious groups in the area but didn’t promote a religious message nor did they explicitly mention sex.

They simply said, “A Night to Protect Her Character” and were intended to encourage safe relationships in high school. One of the sponsors of the flyers, The Crossing of Manitowoc County said, “At The Crossing of Manitowoc County, we are very concerned with promoting healthy relationships among young people. Prom time seems to present particular risks for teens. Our poster and outreach programs are intended to raise awareness of some of the potential risky behaviors often attached to prom night. We hope that these posters will remind and encourage teens to embrace healthy responsible behaviors so that prom will be a “night to remember not a night to regret.”

In a statement the school said the following about their decision to remove the flyers: “The flyers posted which have become the center of controversy did not promote any religious theme or institution and were not religious in content. The flyers are not in violation of school district policy. Posters have been utilized for a number of years and, like past years’ messages, this poster was one of several merely intending to promote a positive prom experience.   No particular religious standard or expectation was being promoted. Social media reaction has demonstrated that any message can be interpreted in a wide variety of ways, many never contemplated or intended to be part of the original message. The posters have been taken down and the school hopes that the focus of prom can return to what should be a positive social experience for our students.”

According to ABC News, senior Elliot Stock said that people misinterpreted the message.

He said, “It was basically saying that guys shouldn’t view women as a sex object but more as a person and that’s what all the words were saying,” he says. “That’s how a guy should view them — not that a girl can’t protect themselves.”

Unfortunately, Planned Parenthood doesn’t care about protecting a girl’s character because teen pregnancy is a big money maker for their abortion business. In fact, Planned Parenthood has proven that they will push abortion even if that means aiding predators in statutory rape, mandating that their employees reach abortion quotas or advising young girls to participate in violent sex.

As LifeNews previously reported, in 2014 Live Action released a video of Planned Parenthood encouraging young teen females to participate in sado-masochistic sexual activities, including gagging, whipping, asphyxiation, shopping at sex stores, and viewing pornography. Planned Parenthood employees also told these girls that “stop,” really doesn’t always mean, “stop”. This advice benefits Planned Parenthood because when girls participate in sexually risky behavior and get pregnant, they can go to Planned Parenthood for an abortion.

This manipulation shouldn’t be all that surprising since they’ve published multiple “resources” for children and teenagers concerning sexual activity. These materials claim to provide “age appropriate” sex education to children starting at age four. Planned Parenthood justifies starting sex-education at such a young age by stating, “Ideally, medical accurate sexuality education would be taught each year in our schools from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.”
