Planed Parenthood Claims Donations Have Spiked Since It Was Caught Selling Aborted Babies

Apparently the videos showing Planned Parenthood’s top executives haggling over the price of fetal body parts collected in abortions are helping the organization fundraise. The Huffington Post reports that the Vice President of Planned Parenthood, Dawn Laguens, believes the footage will ultimately benefit their efforts to “help” women.

She explained, “The benefit of having been a women’s health care provider for 99 years, and to being somebody who’s been there in the lives of one in five American women, is that when people come after Planned Parenthood, people tend to not like that, and it actually has the opposite effect. More people send money, more people ask what they can do to help, more people come to us for health care.”

Laguens goes on to say that Planned Parenthood is working on exposing the creators of the videos as “extremists so they have less power and can’t hide and sneak around so easily.” Then she emphasized that their priority is keeping their employees safe. She said, “I think safety and security are top priorities for this organization. We have decades of abuse and attacks focused on us. We are highly sensitized to this and we are doing everything we can internally to make sure [staffers and employees are] learning.”

The Vice President’s claim that the organization has seen an increase in donations is really difficult to believe because after the video’s surfaced different corporate companies announced that they no longer donate to Planned Parenthood. For example, a representative from Ford Motor Company said “We are making sure that Ford Motor Company is not listed as a Planned Parenthood contributor on their website. In addition, we do not offer an employee match for charitable contributions.”

As LifeNews previously reported, the American Cancer Society, American Express, Coca-Cola, and Xerox have all asked to be removed from the abortion giant’s list of supporters. Although some of these businesses have said that they stopped giving to Planned Parenthood a long time ago, the fact that well known companies do not want to be associated with them can’t be profitable for their company financially.

Additionally, all the comments from lawmakers about the footage certainty can’t help bring in support. So far, a total of 12 states have launched an investigation into Planned Parenthood including Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, KansasMissouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana and members of Congress have launched an investigation as well.

The first video of undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.

In the video she says, “We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.”

“And with the calvarium, in general, some people will actually try to change the presentation so that it’s not vertex,” she continues. “So if you do it starting from the breech presentation, there’s dilation that happens as the case goes on, and often, the last step, you can evacuate an intact calvarium at the end.”

Then, in a second video, Mary Gatter, the Medical Director at Planned Parenthood in California says she’s not in it for the money but later tries to bump up the price for fetal body parts. She says, “Let me just figure out what others are getting, and if this is in the ballpark, then it’s fine, if it’s still low, then we can bump it up. I want a Lamborghini.”

The last two videos feature Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Medical Director, Dr. Savita Ginde, telling actors that she wants to charge per “tissue sample” because that will bring in the most money. She said, “I think the per-item [pricing] works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” It also shows a Planned Parenthood technician sorting through “tissue” collected after a first trimester abortion.”

In the latest video, Dr. Ginde says that their lawyer Kevin Paul, is helping their affiliate get around the fetal tissue law She said, “He’s got it figured out that he knows that even if, because we talked to him in the beginning, you know, we were like, ‘We don’t want to get called on,’ you know, ‘selling fetal parts across states.’” The buyers ask, “And you feel confident that they’re building those layers?” to which Ginde replies, “I’m confident that our Legal will make sure we’re not put in that situation.”

As the buyers and Planned Parenthood workers identify body parts from last fetus in the path lab, a Planned Parenthood medical assistant announces: “Another boy!”
