Texas Gov Greg Abbott on 5th Video: We’re “Aggressively Investigating” Planned Parenthood

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is responding to a new video exposing the Planned Parenthood abortion business that catches a Planned Parenthood official discussing how the abortion business sells “fully intact” aborted babies.

The video, which follows Senate Democrats defeating a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood, makes it appear the Planned Parenthood abortion business may be selling the “fully intact” bodies of unborn babies purposefully born alive and left to die.

The fifth undercover video in the controversy over Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts shows the Director of Research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, Melissa Farrell, advertising the Texas Planned Parenthood branch’s track record of fetal tissue sales, including its ability to deliver fully intact aborted babies.

Texas Governor Greg Abbot is not happy about the shocking evidence in the new video and he said in a response that Texas is “aggressively investigating” what is going on at Planned Parenthood.

“The latest video showing Planned Parenthood’s treatment of unborn children in a Houston clinic is repulsive and unconscionable. Selling baby body parts is the furthest thing imaginable from providing women’s health care, and this organization’s repeated and systematic disrespect for human life is appalling” Abbott said.

He added: “The state of Texas is aggressively investigating this matter and must use all available legal remedies to address this depraved conduct.”

Last month, Abbott launched an investigation of the Planned Parenthood abortion business.

Abbott announced the investigation on his Twitter account writing, “I already sued Planned Parenthood for Medicaid Fraud. Now Texas will look into these organ harvesting claims.” In a written statement issued Tuesday evening, Abbott called the video “unnerving and appalling.”

Abbott said: “The video of a high-level Planned Parenthood executive discussing the details of internal abortion procedures – including harvesting of baby body parts – is unnerving and appalling. In light of the video, I have directed the Texas Health and Human Services Commission to conduct an immediate investigation of this alleged practice in addition to a separate investigation ordered by the Texas Office of the Attorney General.”

A total of 12 states have already launched an investigation including South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, KansasMissouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana and members of Congress have launched an investigation as well.
