Pro-Life Groups to Protest Stericycle, Company That Processes Planned Parenthood’s Aborted Babies

A pro-life group will protest the annual shareholders meeting of the company Stericycle, which process the bodies of the babies aborted at Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses.

The pro-life group Created Equal says the medical waste disposal company  is “enabling” Planned Parenthood to kill unborn children.

“Evidence shows Stericycle has been partnering with Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry through their collection, transportation, and disposal of aborted children and the instruments used to kill them,” it told LifeNews.

The waste company has unsuccessfully tried to stop the pro-life group from exposing its link to Planned Parenthood.

“Created Equal launched #ProjectWeakLink on March 29 by distributing informational postcards in the Lake Forest, IL area, which is home to Planned Parenthood business partner Stericycle. On March 31, Created Equal was notified by Stericycle’s attorneys that the company was seeking a temporary restraining order to stop the campaign,” the group said. “On May 25, Created Equal will be conducting a demonstration at the company’s annual shareholders meeting.”

The meeting will take place at the Double Tree Hotel at 5460 N River Rd in Rosemont, Illinois on May 25 form 10 a.m. to noon.

Mark Harrington of Created Equal told LifeNews:

“To date, Stericycle has not provided sufficient evidence regarding whether they have discontinued transporting and disposing of aborted children and the instruments used to kill them for Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities. Therefore, we will be appealing to Stericycle’s shareholders to get clarification on the company’s Waste Acceptance Protocol and encourage them to consider whether closely affiliating with the Planned Parenthood and the abortion cartel is a wise financial decision.”

According to the Daily North Shore, the disposal business and its CEO Charles Alutto are seeking financial damages and a permanent stop to the campaign. According to their lawsuit, Created Equal and Harrington sent people to Alutto’s home and other nearby residents containing “a photo of Mr. Alutto along with his name, home address and business telephone number side by side with graphic images of mutilated fetuses.”

A Stericycle spokeswoman told the local news outlet that it is against the company’s policy to allow the disposal of fetuses.

Harrington, however, contends that the disposal company does dispose of aborted babies for Planned Parenthood. According to Created Equal’s campaign, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s investigation of Planned Parenthood revealed that Stericycle disposes of fetal remains for Planned Parenthood facilities in Ohio.

“Disposing of aborted babies has its consequences. The campaign to expose Stericycle continues,” Harrington said. “We will not be bullied into silence.”

Stericycle has been exposed before for contracting with abortion clinics to dispose of aborted babies’ body parts. In 2011, when two abortion clinics in Texas were fined for illegally dumping aborted baby remains, they blamed Stericycle for the non-compliance.
