Selling fair-trade products fits with parishioner’s faith

Zee Bee Market, a botique featuring socially and environmentally conscious gifts from around the world, sells a curated collection of handcrafted, fair trade and sustainably produced gifts as well as fairly traded coffee, chocolate, tea and other treats. The South Grand store is owned by Julio Zegarra-Ballon, a Peruvian native and St. Margaret of Scotland parishioner.

 

Julio Zegarra-Ballon traveled a long way to meet an artisan group that creates sterling-silver jewelry that is sold at his store and marketed in the United States through Partners for Just Trade. He wanted to see the difference fair trade makes in improving people's lives.
