Orange County Files Charges Against Planned Parenthood Procurement Partners

The District Attorney’s Office of Orange County, California, has filed a lawsuit against two fetal body parts and tissue procurement firms, DaVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics. The sister companies have been longtime business partners of Planned Parenthood in California’s Orange and San Bernardino Counties.

Daorange-countyVinci Biosciences and DV Biologics are charged with profiting illicitly from the sale of human body parts from abortions.  Both firms were mentioned in Thomas More Society client David Daleiden’s Center for Medical Progress video exposé of Planned Parenthood’s role in the sale of baby body parts.

The lawsuit alleges the companies impermissibly profited from at least 500 transactions between 2012 and 2015, overcharging for shipping and processing while generating $1.5 million in revenue directly from the sale of fetal tissue between 2013 and 2015.

Daleiden responded to the news, saying, “The wheels of justice are beginning to turn against Planned Parenthood and their corrupt business partners in the illicit trade in aborted baby body parts. Planned Parenthood is not above the law, and law enforcement and elected representatives everywhere must now hold Planned Parenthood accountable for their barbaric profiteering off of pregnant women and the body parts of their aborted children.”
