A Missal for Toddlers

This simple, durable and lovely illustrated missal, A Missal for Toddlers, allows a young child to follow the prayers and actions of the Holy Mass step by step. The prayers and colorful pictures show a boy and a girl at Mass with their parents, what they say and what they do, as well as the words and actions of the priest.

The mystery of Jesus, who died on the cross, rose from the dead, and opened the way to Heaven for us, is the essence of the Holy Mass, which a child can enter into little by little with the help of this charming book. This missal has color illustrations throughout and is intended for ages 3 and up.

My Little Catechism

This attractive and thorough book, My Little Catechism, teaches children the beauty of the Catholic Faith by answering fundamental questions in easy-to-understand language. Centered on the profession of faith in the Apostles Creed, explanations are accompanied by Bible verses, prayers, and calls to action designed to help a child’s faith develop into a vibrant, dynamic way of life.

After each lesson there is a nice little summary Bible verse, a one sentence “We Believe” on the truth taught in the lesson, a “Put into Practice” sample of how to live the lesson, a short “Prayer”, and a couple short questions to “Test Yourself”.

A catechism makes the Word of God ring within us to change our lives. Everything that God has to say to us, he says by giving us his Son, Jesus. This catechism, intended for ages 7 and up, helps children learn more about Jesus so that they can know him, follow him, and keep him always in their hearts.

The Christmas Star

In The Christmas Star, very young children are introduced to the beautiful story that changed the world, the birth of the Savior at Christmas. With glorious illustrations by the acclaimed children’s book artist Maite Roche, the little ones see and learn about the Wise Men who followed the star to Bethlehem, the sheep and donkeys, the angels and the shepherds, and the Baby Jesus and his Mother Mary, born in the humble stable in Bethlehem.

A Gospel Advent Calendar

A Gospel Advent Calendar helps children enter, day after day, into the joyful expectancy of Advent with a beautiful calendar based on the Gospels. The calendar is a colorful drawing of the Bethlehem countryside. Windows to open each day reveal the events leading to the birth of Jesus. Beginning December 1st, open the calendar and a beautiful drawing of the Bethlehem countryside will take you on a journey through the Gospel with windows to open each day revealing the events leading to the birth of Jesus with a biblical description of the scene. This calendar includes a lovely 48 page companion booklet that encourages family reflection and prayer and has pictures for children to color. A true Advent experience for the whole family!
