Pro-Abortion Senator Al Franken Will Resign But Won’t Admit He Sexually Harassed Women

Pro-abortion Senator Al Franken of Minnesota announced today he will resign after previously apologizing for sexual harassment in multiple instances. Today he refused to admit his behavior.

Franken stood on the Senate floor Thursday morning and announced his resignation from the Senate after allegations from 8 women prompted even fellow Democrats to abandon their support. Franken admitted to none of the allegations against him, but acknowledged he needs to resign.

“Today I am announcing that in the coming weeks, I will be resigning as a member of the United States Senate,” Franken said.

“Some of the allegations against me are simply not true,” he said. “Others I remember very differently.”

Franken (D-MN) faced accusations from two more women Wednesday, following initial allegations from radio anchor Leeann Tweeden who released photographic evidence that he groped her while she was asleep. Franken also faced many other sexual misconduct accusations from women who say he grabbed them inappropriately while taking photos.

Tina Dupuy, a writer and former Congressional staffer, accused Franken Wednesday of groping her while they posed for a photo at a Media Matters party.

Ironically, the Planned Parenthood abortion business, which asserts itself as the leading organization representing women, absolutely loves Al Franken. Planned Parenthood abortion company CEO Cecile Richards heaped Praise on Franken previously saying that not only would you vote for women’s interest but he was a leader for women.

“I’m so happy to be in Minnesota today on behalf of Sen. Al Franken today and to make sure he goes back to the United States Senate,” Richards says in a campaign video. “Since Al Franken came to Washington, DC, he’s been an extraordinary champion for women and for Planned Parenthood.”

“Al Franken is not just a vote for women, he’s a leader for women,” the abortion giant’s president said.

Following his re-election, Richards said in a statement: “Senator Al Franken has been a strong supporter and advocate for women’s health and women’s rights. We look forward to working with him on important issues, such as health care reform and women’s access to reproductive health care.”

Franken raised more than $81,500 from feminist abortion rights groups for his Senate campaign, “making him the highest recipient of such cash of any congressional candidate.”

SIGN THE PETITION! Congress Must De-Fund Planned Parenthood Immediately

Planned Parenthood profusely thanked Franken during a rally he appeared at jointly with the abortion giant.

It should come as no shock that the abortion company that has covered up statutory rape, that has been found to be doing abortions on women victimized by sex trafficking, and that routinely kills and injures women and abortions Love’s a politician who Smiles as he gropes women.

Planned Parenthood calling itself a pro-woman organization or a group that cares about women’s rights is becoming more and more of a joke. Anyone who still believes the Planned Parenthood abortion business is all about women needs to realize that’s just a farce.
