A (NEW) Little Way to Pray

If you’ve followed me at Equipping Catholic Families for a while, you’ll know that I’m always trying to share easy and practical ways to celebrate the Catholic faith through crafts, activities, and family traditions. I’m also always looking for practical tips to grow in my prayer life and foster that personal relationship with Jesus even when life is chaotic. When I find something that works, I like to share it … in hopes that it can help others as well!

I don’t know about you, but I find that my prayer life has its ups and downs … and exactly in those ups and downs, I can forget to pray. I find that I need reminders for my to do list, so I guess it’s not that much of a stretch to think I could use some reminders in my prayer life as well.

Over the years, I’ve found a few cool ways to help me pray more consistently from the heart. I’ve actually prayed for reminders to pray in this Prompt Me to Pray Prayer or to help me say the Daily Rosary (see tip #1 for the Reluctant Rosary Pray-er). I’ve made craft kits of Prayer Prompts for Prayer Journals and I’ve written a number of posts about personal prayer both here at CatholicMom and at Equipping Catholic Families.
