New cards with “vesting prayers”

I recently received some spiffy cards with vesting prayers for bishops, priests, deacons and subdeacons.

The cards are:

  • Orationes dicendae ab Episcopo cum in pontificalibus celebrat.
  • Orationes dicendae ab Episcopo cum non in pontificalibus celebrat.
  • Orationes dicendae cum Sacerdos induitur sacerdotalibus paramentis.
  • Orationes dicendae cum Diaconus induitur diaconalibus paramentis.
  • Orationes dicendae cum Subdiaconus induitur subdiaconalibus paramentis.

They are flexibly laminated. The print is dark blue on cream.  The rubrics are, of course, red.  There is nothing on the reverse.

Every sacristy should have cards like these, tucked away in the proper cupboard along side the altar cards or charts, the copies of the 1962 Missal and Pontifical and Ritual… etc.
