The Consecration to Mary on the Feast of St. Louis De Montfort

St. Louis was a Dominican, like St. Thomas Aquinas and he travelled with St. Dominic. The two of them preached the rosary, healed the sick and sinful, and had mystical visions of Our Lady. You can read about their ridiculously amazing Apostolate in a book St. Louis De Montfort wrote called "The Secret of the Rosary." St. Louis wrote a book called True Devotion to Mary, if you haven't read it, you must. Frequently I encouraged devotion to Mary on the blog, every single time I give a talk, I encourage devotion to the Holy Rosary. If you want desire deep and profound conversion, an ability to honestly examine your conscience, a profound prayer life, to excel in submitting your will to the will of God, mortification, and purity of heart, than you must devote yourself to the Rosary. There is no more certain way to attain a deep and profound love for Jesus and a desire to order your life to the will of the Father through His gift of the Holy Spirit, than to order your prayer life to THE Daughter of the Father (the new Eve), The Mother of God, and the Spouse of the Holy Spirit. As St. Louis De Montfort said:"We never give more honour to Jesus than when we honour his Mother, and we honour her simply and solely to honour him all the more perfectly. We go to her only as a way leading to the goal we seek - Jesus, her Son."--Saint Louis Marie de MontfortToday Begins the Total Consecration To Mary.  If you don't have the book you can find it online. It is called the Total Consecration to Mary. The first 33 days are a preparation for the Consecration. You can begin the consecration by going to the link I have provided. You will find the Consecration in a link at the bottom of the page. Please, do not miss this opportunity to draw into a deeper relationship with Christ. The world around you is falling further and further away from God. Jesus Christ is calling you to be a light in the darkness, and Our Lady wants to take you to the very depths of His Sacred Heart. In fact, this consecration is an absolute necessity!“We must conclude that, being necessary to God by a necessity which is called "hypothetical", (that is, because God so willed it), the Blessed Virgin is all the more necessary for men to attain their final end. Consequently we must not place devotion to her on the same level as devotion to the other saints as if it were merely something optional.”--Saint Louis Marie de Montfort
