St. Norbert School to cheer on Redbirds in World Series bid

Cardinal fever has taken over St. Louis and the students at St. Norbert Catholic School in Florissant are no exception. At 1 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, 325 students and their teachers will gather in Schaefer Hall on the parish grounds to root the Cardinals on to yet another World Series Championship!

Everyone is encouraged to dress in St. Louis Cardinal apparel, so rally organizers are hoping to greet a special guest with a sea of red spirit wear. Fredbird is expected to make a surprise appearance between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

"This is an exciting time for Cardinal Nation and our students are very enthusiastic about the hometown team," said Deacon Bill Twellman. "The kids are really looking forward to the pep rally and to watching their favorite team take on the Red Sox."
