My View Rocks #SmallSuccess

I wasn’t planning on spending a great deal of time the way I did this week, but sometimes you have to roll with life.

And sometimes, in the face of disorder and chaos, you find that your view isn’t so bad. It’s full of surprises and beauty and even blessings.

Small Success Thursday

1. As insane as my to-do stuff is, I have paused each morning to pray and sit. And the week, which has had a hearty dose of wacky in it, has been better for it.

2. I mowed the lawn. And then I let the mancub help. (Don’t tell him, but by next year he will be driving better than me.)

Apparently our yard is home to orange mushrooms.

3. The kids looked at me strangely, but I sat at the picnic table on my back porch and breathed in the beauty of a good summer storm. And then I was rewarded with three rainbows.
