Prayer Requests and Works of Mercy

Could you ask your readers to consider helping this family, I only know them through her blog via Catholicmom.com, but I’ve followed her story for years and it is nearing the sorrowful, glorious, joyful luminous end for their daughter, and any comfort we could bring via prayers and material sacrifice, would be an act of great mercy.

Father, hear our prayer for this family and their child through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary, pray for them and for all us sinners at the hour of death. Amen.

I’d like to request that you pray for me as I make a pilgrimage to Rome, and also to the Basilica of St. Therese of Lisieux. I’ll be leaving next Thursday, October 2nd, and returning on the 18th. I’m kind of afraid of flying, so that’s part of it, but I also have a feeling that this trip has the potential to be a spiritually rich event for me, and I’d like prayer support that I be as open as possible to what God wants to show me.

Father, hear my reader’s prayer for a safe and spiritually fruitful trip through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Therese, pray for him.

Would you please ask your readers to pray Lupe. Lupe is a four year old girl who has contracted a virus that makes her body attack her blood platelets. She’s fighting for her life and I’m afraid she’s in grave condition. We’re seeking the intercession of St. Januarius.

Father, hear our prayer for Lupe’s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit through your Son Jesus Christ. Give her caregivers grace, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, creativity, insight, compassion, skill and the proper technology to assist in her healing. Give her and all who love her grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love through your Son Jesus Christ. Mother Mary and St. Januarius, pray for them.

A family in the town next to ours, Hebron, lost everything in a fire last week. Thankfully they were out at the time, but now have only their car.

They are an active Catholic family with twin four year old girls and a three month old boy.
