Lindsey Graham's Joke Being Treated as Serious Scandal

This is ridiculous. This is a clear case of a desperate attempt by the press to misconstrue a joke by a Republican into softening the electoral disaster to their poor dear Democrats.South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham made a joke at a meeting of the Hibernian Society, the Irish Catholic club, a few weeks ago. He said, “I’m trying to help you with your tax status,” Graham said. “I’m sorry the government’s so f—ed up. If I get to be president, white men in male-only clubs are going to do great in my presidency.” It's actually a joke on the Hibernians and politicians promising anything. He also tossed in a joke about Baptists, saying “they’re the ones who drink and don’t admit it.” Once again, clearly making fun of the Hibernians who seem a bit proud of their drinking.When asked by CNN about the quotes, Graham said the Hibernian Society encourages speakers “to be earthy, to make fun of yourself, to make fun of them. Then you say something serious and sit down.
