Pope Francis: Blessed Romero's Beatification a Cause for 'Great Joy'

In a letter sent to the Archbishop of San Salvador, Pope Francis expressed his joy at the beatification of Archbishop Oscar Romero.

The martyred prelate's beatification took place in a Mass on Saturday presided by Cardinal Angelo Amato, Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
