Can One Child’s Smile Redeem the World?

Just when you think the world is saturated with evil, that human life is cheapened beyond measure, and that the miracle of life has been reduced to a mere commodity up for sale to the highest bidder — or an inconvenience, to be outsourced by busy people who can afford it — one little British boy can reawaken your hope.

He’s five years old, and his mum, Sarah Bromby, is pregnant, so she shows him the ultrasounds and breaks the news. His irrepressible joy and natural generosity of spirit shine out.

I grinned the entire time while watching.
